SPOKANE, Wash. — The Gonzaga Bulldogs are looking to stay hot in WCC play against San Francisco. A win would help Gonzaga quite a bit in the WCC standings. Currently the Zags are tied with San Francisco at 4-1 in conference. Gonzaga has a 13-5 overall record while the Dons have a 15-5 record. Saint Mary’s currently leads the conference with Santa Clara being number two.

The San Francisco-Gonzaga game will tip off in the Kennel at 6 p.m. on Thursday, January 25. The game can be watched nationally on ESPN 2.
Dons vs Bulldogs
Gonzaga is hoping to extend their WCC winning streak to three on Thursday against a tough San Francisco team. Most recently, the Bulldogs crushed San Diego 105-63.
Braden Huff had 18 points off the bench in the first half and finished with a career high 26. A trio of Zags finished with double doubles: Anton Watson had 12 points and 10 rebounds, Ben Gregg had 15 points and 11 rebounds and Ryan Nembhard had 12 points and 12 assists.
San Francisco had a seven-game winning streak going until they dropped their most recent contest, a game at home against Saint Mary’s.
The Dons are led in scoring, rebounds and steals by Jonathan Mogbo. Mogbo is averaging 15 points, 10 boards and nearly two steals per game.
San Francisco boasts a deep team with six players averaging 20 minutes or more per game.
