PORTLAND, Ore. — The Gonzaga men’s basketball team has two more big games this week, the first is on the road against Portland on February 22. The Zags have won their last four games and 11 of their last 13. Two of their most recent wins have been on the road.
Gonzaga is 20-6 overall and 10-2 in conference play. They currently sit tied for second place in the WCC standings with San Francisco.
Portland is on the other end of the standings, however. They are sitting in eighth place in the WCC with a 9-19 overall record and a 3-10 record in conference.

The Portland-Gonzaga game tips off in Portland, Oregon, on Thursday, February 22 at 6 p.m. The game can be watched on NBC in the Spokane/Coeur d’Alene region and can be watched nationally on ESPN+.
Bulldogs vs. Pilots
The Bulldogs are heading back to Portland for the first time since January 28, 2023. The two teams met earlier this season in Spokane and the Zags beat the Pilots by 32 points. The teams have played each other head-to-head 46 times. The Zags are a combined 44-2 against Portland with a 21-0 record when playing conference games.
The Pilots leading scorer is Tyler Robertson who averages over 16 points per game. The team as a whole averages 72 points per game.
The Bulldogs will be back in action later this week when they host Santa Clara on Saturday.
