SPOKANE, Wash. — Gonzaga has confirmed redshirt junior guard Steele Venters will miss the 2023-24 season with a torn ACL in his right knee. It was an injury Venters suffered during practice before Gonzaga's home opener against Yale.
Venters was a key transfer portal addition for the Bulldogs that figured to play a big role this season.
The 6'7" Ellensburg native earned the Big Sky Player of the Year award and was a unanimous First Team All-Big Sky selection after averaging 15.3 points per game on .457 shooting from the field (.371 from 3-point range).
