MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Bucks have waived former Gonzaga basketball star Drew Timme after being picked up by the team in August.
The news broke on X (twitter.com) from the Bucks' official page. Timme was waived alongside guard Jazian Gortman and guard Omari Moore.
During his short career with Milwaukee, Timme played in the NBA summer league and two preseason games where he scored three points.
It's unclear what happens next for Timme. There's still time for another team to pick him up before the NBA season starts on Oct. 24.
Timme finished his career in Gonzaga as one of the best players in the school's history. He scored a program-record 2,307 points and 910 field goals. He also set the national record for most games with 20 or more points in the NCAA Tournament at 10.
