SPOKANE, Wash. — Gonzaga head men's basketball coach Mark Few is headed to Paris as he was named to the coaching staff for Team USA for the 2024 Olympic Games.
Few will be an assistant alongside Los Angeles Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue and Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra. Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr is the head coach of Team USA.
The team and coaching staff were announced today by Team USA's managing director Grant Hill.
The roster features 12 NBA all-stars and is highlighted by superstar players LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Anthony Davis, Kawhi Leonard, Jayson Tatum and Joel Embiid.
Few will be the only member of the team or coaching staff who is not currently in the NBA.
Team USA begins training camp on July 6 in Las Vegas and will play its first game in Paris on July 28 against former Zag Filip Petrusev and Team Serbia.
The Americans will compete for their fifth straight and 17th overall Olympic gold medal in Paris.
