SPOKANE, Wash. — Gonzaga began the game on an 11-0 run and behind Yvonne Ejim's game high 22 points, and a career high 21 points from Kayleigh Truong, defeated Toledo 91-70.
Ejim came out of the gates on fire as she had 19 points at the half as the Zags led 44-31 at the half.
In the second half, Truong shined with 13 points en route to her career best scoring performance.
Brynna Maxwell knocked down four three pointers and had 14 points and Eliza Hollingsworth had a double double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
The Zags bounced back from a 77-72 overtime loss in Pullman by leading the entire way and shooting 54 percent from the field.
Gonzaga will face North Florida at home on Wednesday night. Tip off is set for 6 pm.
