SPOKANE, Wash. — Two Gonzaga Bulldogs were named to the John R. Wooden Award preseason watch list, which is given to the best player in men's college basketball.
Graham Ike and Ryan Nembhard were two of 50 players picked for the preseason watch list. Gonzaga is one of seven teams with at least two players in the preseason watch list.
Earlier this week, Ike and Nembhard were catalysts to the Zags' 101-63 win against Baylor Monday night. Ike scored 15 points and raked in eight rebounds, while Nembhard scored six points but tallied 11 assists.
The Bulldogs return to action on Sunday, November 10, against Arizona State. Tipoff between the Zags and Sun Devils is scheduled for 2 p.m. from the McCarthey Athletic Center.
