SPOKANE, Wash. — The Gonzaga Bulldogs are back from their trip to Honolulu and are preparing to take on Cal State University Bakersfield in the Kennel. The Zags are coming off two wins and one loss at the Maui Invitational. The Zags' only loss came against Purdue, who is now ranked number one in the nation. The Bulldogs knocked off Syracuse and #24 UCLA en route to a fifth-place finish in the tournament.

Bulldogs vs. Roadrunners
After a busy week last week that saw Gonzaga lose their first game of the season, the Bulldogs remained number 11 in the current AP Basketball poll. The Zags are looking to add to their win total before heading to Las Vegas on Saturday to take on USC.
The Zags are coming off a strong showing in Honolulu when they beat a top-25-ranked UCLA. Anton Watson scored a career-high 32 points. Gonzaga led by 13 in the first half but were forced to stave off a late charge by UCLA, they ultimately won the game 69-65.
Cal State Bakersfield comes into the game against the Bulldogs with a 3-3 record. The Roadrunners' last game was on November 22, where they lost to Tarleton State University 59-40. The only other top-25 matchup for the Roadrunners this season saw them lose to USC 85-59.
