Report: Gonzaga men's basketball to play home and home series with Arizona State

First matchup between the schools is set for November 10 at the Kennel.

SPOKANE, Wash. — According to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports, Gonzaga and Arizona State have agreed to a men's basketball home and home series beginning November 10 at the Kennel, with the return game in Tempe set for the 2025-26 season.

Gonzaga will now face both Hurley brothers, Arizona State head coach Bobby and his younger brother, UConn head coach Dan, a month apart as part of the 2024 nonconference schedule.

Arizona State is embarking on its first season as a member of the BIG 12 conference in 2024-25 after a 14-18 record in its final season as a member of the Pac-12 last season.

ASU will be led by five star recruit, forward Jayden Quaintance and transfer scorers Alston Mason and BJ Freeman.

This series will mark the first meetings between the two schools.

Gonzaga's loaded non-conference slate now includes Arizona State, UConn, San Diego State, Kentucky, UCLA and the Battle 4 Atlantis field.
