Tarleton State transfer guard Emmanuel Innocenti commits to Gonzaga

Innocenti averaged 6.6 points and 6.4 rebounds as a freshman at Tarleton State.

SPOKANE, Wash. — Mark Few continues to add to his loaded roster for next year as Tarleton State transfer guard Emmanuel Innocenti has committed to Gonzaga.

Innocenti averaged 6.6 points and 6.4 rebounds per game as a freshman, but also was named to the All-WAC defensive team and averaged 1.7 steals per game.

The 6'5" Italian had a career high 11 points in two separate games last season.

It remains to be seen how many minutes the young Innocenti will earn on an already loaded Gonzaga roster next season, but could be a late game defensive substitution.

Innocenti becomes the third transfer to commit to Gonzaga this offseason along with Michael Ajayi and Khalif Battle.

Gonzaga still has two scholarships available.
