WSU, Oregon State reach scheduling agreement with Mountain West Conference

Both Washington State and Oregon State will play six games each provided by the conference during the 2024 season.

WASHINGTON, USA — The two remaining schools in the Pac-12 conference have had an uncertain future throughout the last several months, but the universities have finally found a new home.

Washington State University (WSU) and Oregon State University (OSU) have reached a scheduling agreement with the Mountain West Conference (MWC) for the 2024 football season, according to the WSU Office of the President. Each school will play six games, three home and three away, provided by the conference.

"Today's announcement provides both institutions clarity for the 2024 football season," WSU President Kirk Schultz said in a tweet. "We plan to announce a complete 2024 football schedule in the near future."

The announcement comes just three days after the Washington state Supreme Court  granted a request by the University of Washington and the Pac-12 to put on hold a lower court's ruling that gave WSU and OSU control of the conference until the high court can make a full review.
