SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane Indians third baseman Kyle Karros was named the Northwest League player of the week after raking to the tune of a .500 average with two home runs and four runs batted in.
Spokane's leading hitter has continued to terrorize Northwest League pitching in June.
Karros is now hitting .313 with seven home runs and 46 runs batted in on the season, all of which lead the Indians.
The UCLA product was named the Northwest League player of the month for April.
Among eligible hitters, Karros has the highest batting average, most hits and most RBIs in the Northwest League this season.
The Indians begin a split series with the Tri-City Dust Devils in Tri-City tonight at 7 pm.
