Spokane Indians hosting playoff games at Gonzaga University due to Avista Stadium renovations

The Indians' first playoff game is on Friday, September 13.

SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Indians are set to play in the Northwest League Championship Series next week, but they won't be playing their home games at Avista Stadium.

According to a press release from the Spokane minor league ball club, the Indians will be hosting its playoff games at the Patterson Baseball Complex/Coach Steve Hertz Field at Gonzaga University.

The Indians said upgrades at Avista Stadium are scheduled to begin right after the regular season ends, and the Indians said the renovations need to be done on schedule to get ready for the 2025 season.

Some of the upgrades include expanded dugouts, a full field renovation, foul ball netting and padded outside walls.

Ticket information on the Indians playoff games will be released soon. The Indians say STCU Gold Glove Members will have the first chance to buy tickets when they become available.

The Indians' first playoff home game is on Friday, September 13. The Indians will play either the Vancouver Canadians or the Hillsboro Hops in a best-of-five series, which starts on Tuesday, September 10.

The Indians will host Game 3 (September 13), Game 4 (if necessary) and Game 5 (if necessary) at Gonzaga.
