SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Indians will be playing postseason baseball for the first time since 2021.

The Indians clinched the Northwest League First-Half Title Sunday night after beating the Vancouver Canadians 5-4 in 10 innings.

The Canadians got out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning before tying the game up two innings later. After going back and forth for the next few innings, the game went into extra innings tied 4-4.

In the top of the 10th inning, Juan Guerrero would drive in the go-ahead run with a sacrifice fly, and Carson Skipper would come in and get the save and clinch the Indians' first-half title.

The Spokane Indians clinched with four games left in the season's first-half, which includes a doubleheader on Wednesday, June 19.

In between that and the start of the second half on Friday, June 21, the Indians will host the Eugene Emeralds on Thursday, June 20, for KREM 2 Night.
