PEND OREILLE COUNTY, Wash.—Flood waters over State Road 20 in Pend Oreille County has drivers in the area taking detours.
The Washington State Department of Transportation- East tweeted a photo of the flood waters pouring over SR 20 at Cusick Creek Road.
The tweet said officials were not sure when the road would be reopened because “there’s still a lot of snow in them thar hills.”
Okanogan County and Pend Oreille counties are reporting "debris flow" in rivers. According to the National Weather Service website, the Pend Oreille River near Albeni Falls Dam is not at flood levels.
WDSOT- East tweeted that detours were available.
