The Cougs have landed.

WSU Cougar Football tweeted photos of the moment Head Coach Mike Leach and his team touched ground in San Antonio, Texas, just five days before they go head-to-head with the Iowa State Cyclones in the 2018 Alamo Bowl.

Seven hours before, starting quarterback Gardner Minshew arrived at the WSU fieldhouse in Pullman looking dressed for Texas.

This is the second time the Cougs have played in the Alamo Bowl. In 1994, WSU won against Baylor 10 to 3, with the Palouse Posse defense.

This is WSU’s fourth straight bowl – a program record. It’s also the program’s 15th ever bowl and Mike Leach’s fifth bowl in six years.
