Rachel Dolezal announces biography on Instagram

Rachel Dolezal

SPOKANE, Wash. --- On Friday, Rachel Dolezal announced that people can pre-order her new memoir “In Full Color: Finding My Place in a Black and White World.”

Back in 2015, Dolezal was criticized for passing herself off as a black woman. Dolezal later acknowledged she is "Caucasian biologically," but said she identifies as a black woman.

“Preorders for my book are up online! Link posted on my IG page,” Dolezal said on an Instagram post.

Her book description on Amazon reads, “What determines your race? Is it your DNA? The community in which you were raised? The way others see you, or the way you see yourself?”

Already people are expressing their frustration, anger and even excitement about the memoir.

“Please tell me what she knows about being a REAL TRUE black woman?!?! Girl BYE with this foolishness!! You'll NEVER know our struggles and I don't care how much dark spray tan you put on,” commented one Instagram user.

“I bought a copy also @racheladolezal God bless you my friend. I appreciate you,” said another person.

The book is set to be released in March of 2017. You can pre-order her book here.
