COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho — A Post Falls woman accused of murder-for-hire was arraigned in Idaho federal court Wednesday.
Katrina L. Danforth, 31, is charged with five counts of use of interstate commerce facilities in commission of murder-for-hire, according to court documents. She has pleaded not guilty to all of those charges.
Her jury trial is expected to begin Mar. 4, 2019.
FBI agents arrested Danforth Dec. 19, 2018 at the Spokane International Airport. Danworth waived a bail hearing Dec. 21.
On Oct. 20, Nov. 9, twice on Nov. 10 and once on Nov. 19, Danforth allegedly made calls offering people money to kill a person with the initials R.H., according to the indictment documents. Danforth faces the possibility of serving a maximum sentence of ten years imprisonment, with the possibility of supervised release, and a fine of $250,000 per count.
A pre-trial hearing is set for Feb. 21, 2019. Danforth will be held in the custody of the U.S. Marshals.
