SPOKANE, Wash. — The 2024 November Election is just a few months away, which means that there are some important dates that you should mark in your calendar to help you plan ahead.
Here is a list of dates you need to know for the Primary and General Elections.
Primary Election
- Friday, July 19
- Ballots begin to arrive in mailboxes, accessible voting units become available at voting centers and an 18-day voting period begins
- Monday, July 29
- Online and mail registration deadline
- Tuesday, August 6
- Primary Election, deadline for Washington State in-person voter registration or updates, ballots must be in an official drop box before 8 p.m.
General Election
- Friday, October 18
- Ballots are mailed out, accessible voting units become available at voting centers and 18-day voting period begins
- Monday, October 28
- Online and mail registration deadline
- Tuesday, November 6
- General Election, deadline for Washington State in-person voter registration or updates, ballots must be in an official drop box before 8 p.m.
