HAYDEN, Idaho — Idaho Gov. Brad Little will be stopping in Hayden on Thursday to announce the number of Idaho LAUNCH applications and to discuss the program's successes.
The Idaho LAUNCH program is part of Gov. Little's "Idaho First" plan and looks to provide resources to high school students in the state after they graduate. The governor will announce the numbers at the StanCraft Jet Center in Hayden at 2:40 p.m.
According to the governor's office, beginning with the class of 2024, the program will provide students seeking in-demand careers with grants of up to $8,000, or 80% of tuition or fees.
Gov. Little will be joined by Lt. Governor Scott Bedke and Workforce Development Council Executive Director Wendi Secrist at Thursday's event.
