OLYMPIA, Wash. — As the Washington state August 2024 primary election results come in, track returns by county for some of the biggest races across Washington state on KING 5's exclusive interactive map.
An initial round of election returns is expected to be released shortly after 8 p.m. on Election Day, Aug. 6. These returns are from ballots that were turned in early and tabulated. However, counties will release additional results in the days after the election as more ballots are counted. Additional results are typically released daily.
On the map below, select a race from the dropdown to see election results for governor, U.S. Senate, attorney general, Washington's 10 congressional districts and more. Click individual counties on the map to see a breakdown of the results by county.
Several key races are on the ballot, among them are the race for Washington governor. Frontrunners to replace outgoing Gov. Jay Inslee include Democrat Bob Ferguson and Republican Dave Reichert.
Three candidates are running to replace Ferguson as attorney general, including former U.S. Attorney for western Washington Nick Brown, state Sen. Manka Dhingra and Mayor of Pasco Pete Serrano.
All 10 congressional districts have garnered numerous candidates, including District 6, where Derek Kilmer announced he will not seek reelection. Current Lands Commissioner Hilary Franz is among those candidates running to replace Kilmer.
Seven candidates are running to replace Franz as Lands Commissioner, including former Republican Congressmember Jaime Herrera Beutler.
At the federal level, 11 candidates, including incumbent Maria Cantwell, are running for U.S. Senate.
