SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — Voters in Spokane County should expect their ballots in the mail by Monday evening for the special election that is set for February 13.
According to the Spokane County Elections Office, the ballots were mailed out between January 24-26.
February’s election features school districts predominantly with a few other items depending on which district or region you live in. For example, you may have seen flyers and posters discussing the upcoming Spokane Public Schools bond. If it is approved by voters, a $200 million bond would replace Adams and Madison Elementary.
Medical Lake, Mead. Central Valley, Cheney and several other school districts in the county will also vote on different bonds and levies this election.
For those who are not registered to vote, the deadline for the Elections Office to receive new registrations online or by mail is February 5. Day of registration and voting in person will end at 8 p.m. on election day.
Spokane County Elections Office website has several resources such as a voter guide, the ability to track your ballot and past election results.
