SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — Molly Marshall has announced that she is conceding the Spokane County District 5 Commissioners Race to Al French.
In a statement sent to KREM 2 Friday night, Marshall thanked her supporters.
“While this is not the outcome we hoped for, I am deeply grateful for the hundreds of neighbors, volunteers, and donors who stood by our campaign,” Marshall said. “Together, we brought attention to vital issues like clean water, wildfire readiness, and infrastructure that supports safe and sustainable development.”
French is leading the race right now by a little over 1,000 votes. French has 27,570 votes, and Marshall has 26,240 votes.
