SPOKANE, Wash. — The countdown for this year’s election is quickly approaching, and here in Spokane, a few important dates are coming up quickly.
For starters, ballots will begin mailing out this week, the process starts Wednesday, October 9 and runs through October 11.
There are also two important registration deadlines to remember. Monday, October 28 is the deadline to receive new registrations and voter updates online and by mail. The second is Tuesday, November 5 which is the actual election date. However, in Washington, you have until 8 p.m. on election night to register in-person to vote.
Ballot drop boxes will be available starting October 11 and will officially close exactly at 8 PM on Election Day. Mailed in ballots must be postmarked by Election Day.
