SPOKANE, Wash. — Early voting statistics posted by the Washington Secretary of State (WASEC) reflect that 224,192 ballots have been returned for the 2024 General Election.
In Spokane County, there are 374,718 registered voters for the 2024 General Election. WASEC reports that 59.83% of ballots have been returned as of Sunday, Nov. 3.
Of the 189,507 returned ballots, 217,659 have been accepted, leaving 2,808 that have been challenged, meaning there was some issue with their processing.
As of Monday, Nov. 4, Washington state reached 5 million registered voters for the 2024 General Election and 56.67% of ballots have been returned for early voting.
WASEC reports that most early voters returned their ballots by Oct. 28 and voters ages 75 and older are the largest group of early voters, with just over 70% having already returned their ballots.
