SPOKANE, Wash. — A motorcyclist was killed Friday night after Spokane police say he lost control of his bike.
Spokane police said around 5:03 p.m. the motorcyclist was headed east on North Foothills near North Pittsburgh.
A witness told officers the rider was going at least 50 mph when he lost control of the bike and hit a curb.
Police said the man died at the scene. They believe speed was a contributing factor in the crash.
