WSP searching for missing Indigenous woman from Spokane

SPOKANE, Wash. — Editor's note: A previous version of this story stated Lenetta was 17 years old. WSP's original release stated she was 17, but the patrol sent a corrected release shortly after stating her age is 27.

The Washington State Patrol (WSP) activated a Missing Indigenous Person Alert (MIPA) for a Spokane woman.

According to WSP, 27-year-old Lenetta Moses was last seen near East Coza Drive at approximately 10 a.m. on Wednesday. WSP activated this MIPA on behalf of the Spokane Police Department (SPD).

WSP says Lenetta is deaf in her right ear and will need an interpreter if her hearing aid is not working. SPD said she speaks Salish and will also need an English interpreter. WSP said she has a scar on her right cheek and was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and black jogger pants. She has black hair and brown eyes, weighs 150 pounds and is 5'5".

Washington State Patrol says Moses may now be in Montana.
