WSP investigating deadly motorcycle crash on eastbound I-90 at Division Street

SPOKANE, Wash. — One person was killed in a motorcycle crash in Spokane Friday night.

According to Washington State Patrol, the crash happened on eastbound I-90 at Division Street.

WSP says the crash happened around 9 p.m. when a 22-year-old motorcycle driver attempted to take the Division Street exit at a high speed and failed to navigate the curve. 

WSP says the driver hit the barricade and was thrown off the ramp. WSP says the driver died on the scene.

WSP closed the eastbound I-90 Division exit on Friday night while crews investigated the area. As of 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, the ramp is reopened. 

As of Saturday morning, WSP says it is unknown whether drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash.
