SPOKANE, Wash. — The Washington Department of Transportation (WSDOT) invited the public to give feedback on pedestrian bridge access over I-90 as they continue to work on the North Spokane Corridor (NSC).

The meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 18 at the Liberty Park Library. There will be a presentation on the NSC before public feedback. WSDOT is looking for questions or comments on preferred locations, designs and preferences for future pedestrian bridges over I-90.

If people are not able to attend in person, the meeting will also be broadcast via Microsoft Teams.

Currently, there are two pedestrian bridges that cross I-90 between the Hamilton Street and Sprague Avenue interchanges in Spokane, and a third was removed in 2023 due to safety concerns.

This is the first of several meetings that aim to regularly gather feedback and foster conversation between WSDOT and community members.
