A brush fire and vehicle fire in Kittitas County, about four miles west Cle Elum, shut down parts of 1-90 Sunday, according to Washington State Parol.
I-90 westbound was fully closed because of the fire just after 6 p.m. on Sunday. One lane was reopened at about 6:45 p.m., according to WSP.
Crews are working to mop up hotspots as of Monday morning.
Washington State Department of Transportation opened the left lane between Cle Elum to just pass the fire scene at milepost 81.
Washington State Department of Natural Resources officials said in a Twitter post that an aircraft to Cle Elum to assist the local fire crews on the ground.
