Stevens County fire that threatened structure now fully contained

STEVENS COUNTY, Wash. — Stevens County Emergency Management said fire crews have fully contained a half-acre fire that was threatening a structure.

According to the SCEM, the half-acre fire was in the area of 2326 Clugston-Onion Creek Road and threatened a structure.

The SCEM said by 4:25 p.m. that the fire was fully contained and a bulldozer was working to make sure the fire didn't break the set lines.

A helicopter, a bulldozer and two engines were on scene as of 1:50 p.m., according to the SCEM. They also requested four additional aircraft, SCEM said.
