MEDICAL LAKE, Wash — Firefighters from Spokane County Fire District 3 and Spokane County Fire District 10 responded to a field fire near West Thorpe Road in Medical Lake on Sunday, July 7.
Spokane County Fire District 3 reports that a piece of farm equipment caught fire and the flames spread to the surrounding grass.
They report that only about half an acre was burned before the fire was quickly extinguished by firefighters.
