Level 1 Evacuations, meaning get ready to leave, have also been issued for people near Highway 155 to Western Avenue in Electric City.

According to WSDOT-East, Highway 155 in the area was closed because of the fire. WSDOT said there is no ETA for when the highway will open, and there is also no detour. WSDOT said if you are traveling in the area, make sure to be on the lookout for emergency responders and be ready for changed to road closures depending on the fire.

The sheriff's office says one lane of Highway 155 is now open in the area, and WSDOT is controlling the lane.

The sheriff's office asked boaters on Banks Lake to stay away from the area so helicopters can get water uninterrupted. Boaters can now return to and enjoy the waters.

Fire crews are now mopping up the fire.
