COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho — All evacuations have been lifted for the Cave Bay area related to the Mowry fire near the Coeur d'Alene Indian Reservation.
According to Kootenai County Emergency Management, evacuations were lifted around 7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 28.
According to the Idaho Department of Lands (IDL) on Sunday, September 1, the fire is 100% contained and is burning 86 acres.
IDL says fire crews are on the scene and working to contain the fire.
IDL said on Wednesday night that aircraft created a wet line around 90% of the fire to prevent further spread. They say fire lines are being constructed and mop-up work has begun.
