All evacuation notices in place for an area south of Colville, Wash. have been dropped.
According to Stevens County Emergency Management, the fire is currently 20% contained and it is estimated to be around 61 acres. Currently, the fire is contained but not controlled, and a red flag warning will be placed later Saturday.
Moran Creek and Arden Butte Road are open but drivers are asked to use caution and avoid the area if possible while fire crews continue to work on the fire.
Approximately 200 dedicated individuals are in the area helping out to contain the fire. Crews worked hard through the night and got the fire lined at 10 p.m. They will be working through the day to put out hotspots and work on the remaining fire.

Level 1 and 2 evacuations are in place for an area south of Colville, Wash. due to a wildfire.
According to Stevens County Emergency Management, level 2 evacuations are in place for those on Arden Butte Road while level 1 evacuations are in place for those on Moran Creek Road.
State fire crews have been mobilized to contain the fire. According to officials, the fire started around 1:37 p.m. and is estimated to be at 40 acres and growing. It is burning timber, brush and grass and is threatening homes, agriculture and infrastructure.
The fire is currently growing in size, but both ground and air resources are on scene working to contain it.
Residents are asked to avoid the area until further notice. A Red Cross shelter will be opened at 7 p.m. at Colville High School.
