JULIAETTA, Idaho — According to the National Interagency Fire Center, 143 structures have been lost in the Gwen Fire burning in Juliaetta, Idaho.

There are currently Level 1 Evacuations for people near the fire after Level 3 Evacuations were issued.
According to the Idaho Department of Lands, the fire has burned 28,805 acres and is 65% contained.
According to fire officials, the fire was started by lightning.
One of the places damaged by the Gwen Fire was Colter's Creek Vineyard and Winery. The winery announced on their Facebook page that they would be closing their doors due to the impacts of the massive Gwen Fire impacting areas south of Juliaetta.
The vineyard survived the fire, but they said that the overall business was "destroyed within minutes."
Burned-up wine bottles, barrels, and a couple of cars were taken out from the fire, destroying an estimated 20,000 gallons of the product as Sanborn waits to meet with insurers to assess the damage.
