PULLMAN, WASH — The Pullman Police Department released their very own “lip-sync challenge” video Monday dedicated to the life of Tyler Hilinski, No. 3 on Washington State University’s football team who took his life earlier this year.
“We wanted to make the Pullman PD Lip Sync Video different from all of the other law enforcement lip sync videos by centering our video on our community,” Police Chief Gary Jenkins said. “We wanted to highlight what makes Pullman the great community that it is.”
The department hopes that it can advance suicide prevention and remove a stigma associated with suicide by honoring Hilinski's life.
