Driver injured after crashing car into home on Wellesley and Regal

Police told KREM 2 the driver of the car is cooperating and voluntarily did a field sobriety test.

SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane fire crews responded to a home on Wellesley and Regal after a car drove through the front of it.

According to the Spokane Police Department (SPD), the driver collided with several objects before crashing into the house, including a neighbor's fence and the front yard of the home.

Police told KREM 2 the driver of the car is cooperating and voluntarily did a field sobriety test. It doesn't appear the driver was intoxicated at the time of the crash and could have experienced a medical emergency.

The driver received minor injuries in the crash.

Police did not share the driver's age.
