OLYMPIA, Wash. — Open enrollment for health insurance is currently underway for 2025.
Washingtonians who sign up by Sunday, Dec. 15 will have coverage starting on Jan. 1. Those who sign up between Dec. 16 and Jan. 15, will begin on Feb. 1.
Through Washington State's Health Plan Finder, Washingtonians can shop, compare and select plans.
“Now is the time to access health and dental insurance through Washington Healthplanfinder to start the year off right on Jan. 1,” Washington Health Benefit Exchange CEO Ingrid Ulrey said. “We are in the middle of a robust, record-breaking open enrollment period due, in part, to federal enhanced premium tax credits. We continue to be concerned that Congress may allow this assistance to expire at the end of 2025, which would result in steep premiums in 2026.”
Customers can also call the Exchange Customer Support Center at 1-855-923-4633 (TTY: 1-855-627-9604) for remote support in multiple languages. People can also find brokers and insurance navigators through the health plan finder for in-person assistance.
Washington Health Plan Finder’s customer support center has also extended hours during open enrollment. The center will be open and ready to help customers from 7:30 a.m. through 7 p.m., Monday through Friday. The center is closed on the weekends and holidays.
