The 12-foot skeleton that stood on Southeast Boulevard has been stolen, according to its owner.

SPOKANE, Wash. — A South Hill icon is missing.

The 12-foot skeleton that stood on Southeast Boulevard has been stolen, according to its owner.

The skeleton, known as "Skele," has been through a lot this year. This is the second one to stand in the yard after a fire melted the original skeleton in September. Avista paid to replace the decoration.

The owner told KREM 2 News that someone took it out of her yard Monday night.
