Tracy Walters, owner of Walters' Fruit Ranch at Greenbluff, dies at age 93

Tracy and his wife, Leta, were both retired school teachers and staples of the Greenbluff community.

MEAD, Wash. — Tracy Walters, the owner of Walters' Fruit Ranch,  a popular fruit ranch at Greenbluff, has died.  

According to a Facebook post from Walters' Fruit Ranch, Walter passed away Saturday, July 27, at the age of 93. 

Walters' built the FruitLoop Express, a loop around Greenbluff farms that allowed guests to pick fresh fruit and educated guests on local agriculture. 

"Not only did he stake his claim in the track world, he helped make Green Bluff what you know it as today," the Facebook post said. 

Tracy and his wife, Leta, were both retired school teachers and staples of the Greenbluff community. 

"Tracy was and will always be a pillar in the Green Bluff community and especially here at Walter’s’ Fruit Ranch!"
