Texas Roadhouse to open location at former N. Division Costco site

Texas Roadhouse and At Home furniture are the first two confirmed businesses that will make up part of the Northside Marketplace at the former N. Division Costco.

SPOKANE, Wash. — The lot that formerly played host to a Costco on North Division will soon have an At Home furniture store and a Texas Roadhouse restaurant, along with space for other tenants.

At Home and Texas Roadhouse are the only two tenants that are confirmed for the space on North Division Street that used to be a Costco. Site plans show that the restaurant will be built where the Costco’s fuel center pad used to be located.

The property and the businesses that will occupy it will be known as the “Northside Marketplace.”

The At Home furniture store will take up about 87,000 square feet of space, according to building permits. This leaves 47,000 square feet for other businesses.

Steve Ridenour of NAI Black, the company in charge of leasing the property, said they are still in the process of interviewing companies to potentially fill the space. Recent drawings show a storage facility, a trampoline park and a Planet Fitness gym, but these are unconfirmed.

While At Home has already made significant progress on its construction, NAI Black said Texas Roadhouse may start work later this year.

Texas Roadhouse, which is not attached to the other building containing At Home and other businesses, will be surrounded by 249 parking spaces. The main building will have 432 parking spaces, according to site plans.
