National Park Service recovers remains of missing fisherman from Lake Roosevelt

51-year-old Eric Lee Jensen reportedly went missing on Friday, February 9. His remains were found by the National Park Service a week later on Friday, February 16.

STEVENS COUNTY, Wash. — The Lake Roosevelt National Park Service announced they have recovered the remains of the fisherman who had been reported missing for a week.

51-year-old Eric Lee Jensen went missing on Lake Roosevelt near Bradbury Boat launch on February 9. As of Friday, February 16, his body has been found.

"We would like to thank everyone that helped search for and provided information about Mr. Jensen," the National Park Service said in a Facebook post. "Our condolences are extended to his family and friends."

Jensen's boat launched from the Bradbury Boat Launch area around 9:30 a.m. on February 9. His empty boat was recovered around 3 a.m. the next day.
