The City says it has partnered with the Rotary Club of the Greater Spokane Valley for tree lighting and breakfast with Santa events and with the Spokane Valley Farmer’s Market for the second annual Spokane Valley Winter Market.

“The holidays are a wonderful time to come together with friends and family, and we’re excited to gather this year in the new Balfour Park for our annual tree lighting,” said Spokane Valley Mayor Pam Haley. “We appreciate the community partners who help make these events possible and create lasting memories for all ages.”

Holiday events will include:

  • Celebration of Lights Tree Lighting on Friday, Dec. 6 at 6 p.m. at Balfour Park.
    • Enjoy a festive holiday tree lighting event with music, hot chocolate and cookies and a visit from Santa. Community members are invited to wear light-up festive wear and follow Santa through Balfour Park in the new walking light parade.
    • Parking is available at Balfour Park and across the street at Spokane Valley City Hall. The event is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Greater Spokane Valley and Senske Services.
  • Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 7 with mealtimes at 8 a.m., 9 a.m. or 10 a.m. at CenterPlace Regional Event Center.
