SPOKANE, Wash. — The Salvation Army Spokane will host its "Clothe a Child" shopping spree on Saturday, Oct. 26 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Northtown Mall JC Penney store.
The Salvation Army will guide 60 local school-aged children to pick out $150 worth of winter clothing and shoes for free.
The Salvation Army says the event is possible due to community donations and that it seeks to support children in need whose families are not able to purchase suitable winter clothes or shoes.
