SPOKANE, Wash. — The popular morning radio show "Dave, Ken and Molly" was canceled abruptly this week.
The show, which has been a staple in the community for three decades, was consistently voted the best radio team in the Inlander's "Best Of" readers poll.
Morgan Murphy Media canceled the show, without time to allow the hosts to say goodbye to their listeners.
"Dave, Ken and Molly" are known for their engaging morning conversations and support for local causes.
On Facebook, Dave and Molly expressed their gratitude to their listeners. Dave wrote, "We always enjoyed our morning chats… But the best part was connecting with so many of you that listened… And being able to help out in so many local causes…"
Molly added, "I'm sorry that we didn't get to say goodbye to you all. Spokane has been so good to us. Obviously, this was not our decision. Thank you for over 30 years of love and support."
