SPOKANE, Wash. — A new music venue is opening in Spokane on New Year's Day.
The new Hamilton Studio Listening Room in Spokane's West Central neighborhood seats 90 people, keeping the artist and musicians at the center of the audience's attention. The venue will officially open at 8 p.m. on Jan. 1, 2024, with a performance by country artist Brennen Leigh.
The Hamilton Studio Listening Room seats 90 people, keeping the artist and musicians at the center of the audience's attention. The studio is on the Spokane Register of Historic Places. It was once the St. Joseph's School Auditorium and Gym. It now holds a professional audio system. They also now sell wine and beer.
The concert kickstarts the new music venue, which is set to open on Jan. 1, at 8 p.m. Tickets for the show cost $80. Venue doors open at 7 p.m.
Profits made during the concert will go to Spokane Public Radio.
"We look forward to Spokane experiencing the Hamilton Studio Listening Room! We're thrilled to offer an intimate setting for great musicians and performers like Brennen Leigh," said the founder of the Hamilton Studio, Don Hamilton.
Opening artist Brennen Leigh and her trio will bring the musician's signature country style to the Inland Northwest.
