SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane County Waste Management wants to remind Spokane County residents that not all holidays disrupt service to collection day. Holidays such as Columbus Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Presidents Day and Veterans Day do not have impacted waste pick-up.
According to the waste management website, garbage, recycling and yard waste are not picked up on
- Christmas Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Memorial Day
- New Year's Day
- Thanksgiving
If any of the above holidays fall on a weekend, the pickup schedule will remain as usual. For the full a Spokane County holiday schedule click here.
