Spokane County Sheriff's Office finds potential explosive device at home in Mead

Deputies were responding to a disturbance between two people before finding the device at a home on E. Moody Road.

MEAD, Wash. — Deputies with the Spokane County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) responded Tuesday night to a potential explosive device found at a home in Mead.

According to SCSO, Deputies were responding to a disturbance between two people before finding the device at a home on E. Moody Road. Deputies were able to render the device safe and collected evidence at the scene.

SCSO said potential charges are in the works, but at this time, nobody has been arrested. No one was injured during the incident.
