SPOKANE, Wash.— Spokane County prosecutors dismissed all charges against a former Pasco police officer who was accused of murdering a Spokane prostitute.
Reports said Richard Aguirre was accused of beating a Spokane prostitute to death in 1986.
Officials said he was named as a suspect in 2015 because of a DNA match.
County prosecutors said a more resent DNA test lead them to believe there wasn't enough evidence to lead to a conviction.
